Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 5, 2026

The short version: this site doesn't ask for, store, or sell your personal information. There are no accounts, no comments, and no forms — nothing here even lets you type. The longer version follows.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages get read and how visitors arrive. It sets cookies and records things like your approximate location (from your IP address), your device and browser type, and the pages you visit. We only ever look at this in aggregate — "the Bedrock guide got more readers this week" — and have no way to identify you from it.

If you're visiting from the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, no analytics cookies are set unless you accept them in the consent dialog. If you decline, we still receive anonymous, cookieless counts — enough to know a page was read, nothing that follows you around.

If you'd rather not be counted, block cookies in your browser or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works exactly the same either way.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses and request headers to deliver pages and block abuse. That happens on their side; their practices are described in Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Ads and affiliate links

This site shows display ads through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may set cookies and use identifiers to serve ads, measure how they perform, and — where you've allowed it — personalize them. What Google does with that data is described in how Google uses information from partner sites, and you can switch off ad personalization at any time in your Google ads settings.

If you're visiting from the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, a consent dialog will ask for your choice before any advertising or analytics cookies are set. Declining is a real option — you'll still see ads, just non-personalized ones — and you can change your choice at any time.

Some outbound links — for example, to Minecraft server hosting companies — may be affiliate links. If you buy something through one, we may earn a commission. It costs you nothing extra, and it never changes what we recommend.

Links to other sites

We link out to places like CurseForge, MCPEDL, and YouTube. Once you're there, their privacy policies apply, not ours.

Children

Plenty of Minecraft players are kids, and this site is safe for them to read precisely because it collects nothing: there is no way to submit personal information here. If you believe a child's personal information has somehow reached us anyway, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

If our data practices change, this page changes first, along with the effective date at the top.
